Our Mission

Pennsylvania Development Agency (PDA) was founded in 2016 with a goal of allowing Pennsylvanians who have disabilities stay at home with all the benefits and resources necessary to live with in their community of choice. Pennsylvania Development Agency is a nonprofit Social Service organization that fights for our clients to receive the most benefits possible. Typically the population we serve are the elderly and disabled whom live in poverty or on a restricted fixed income.

Our Partners

Pennsylvania Development Agency works with its network of partners to bring every possible option to our clients. Most of our services are at no direct cost to our clients. PDA is a partner of Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania’s Department of Aging, Philadelphia Corporation of Aging, The Office of Long Term Living, PA Health and Wellness, Keystone First (and IBX company), and UPMC and many more.

What is Support Coordination Services?

Supports Coordination Services are offered under the state’s Community Health Choices (CHC) umbrella of services to Medicaid participants who want to stay in their homes opposed to going in the nursing Home. Pennsylvania Development Agency (PDA) is a Supports Coordination Agency authorized by the state of Pennsylvania. This allows us to create, maintain and monitor person centered plans for all eligible individuals. We are able to help choose all necessary services, find qualified vendors, shop around for best prices for caregivers and home health care agencies and work with an individuals Managed Care Organization (MCO).
